Before you throw the banana peel into the compost bin.  You might want to have a second thought about it.  Why throw something edible. 

Honestly, i really didn't know that banana peel can be made into patties.  Like me, if you don't think it's palatable to you, then why not take notice of these unlikely uses of banana peel.

Bug Bites
Banana peel reduces itching and soothe the skin when you rub it on bug bites.

The restorative properties of banana peel can speed up the healing process of bruises.

Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening can be very expensive.  Use banana peel instead.  If you rub banana peel on your teeth for a couple of minutes every day, your teeth could be noticeably whiter in a few weeks.

Banana peel helps eliminate warts and prevent them from coming back.  The procedure is very simple although a little bit uncomfortable.  You simply tape a piece of banana peel to the wart overnight for about a week.

We have heard funny stories of banana peel that's why i specifically said throwing it into the compost bin or somebody (or you) might get hurt later.  Banana peel and leather shoes meet again, but this time, banana peel on top.

Shoe Polish
Rub the banana peel on your leather shoes, then buff them up with a soft cloth.  Instant shiny shoes!

Leather Polish
Well, if banana peel can do miracles with your leather shoes, then so with your leather jackets and furniture.
