When traveling to Cagayan de Oro City on a budget, you can stay at Amarea Travel Lodge along Aguinaldo Street, near Maxandrea Hotel. You can also call them at these numbers: (+63) (88) 745-332 | (+63) (88) 231-3046 and (0923) 659-3972.

Amarea Travel Lodge opened March 2011, was recommended by a friend. There was only one downside i found when i stayed here - No closet for clothes. Most probably their target guests are those staying overnight only.

Also, they have no restaurant area. You can either eat at the adjacent Maxandrea Hotel (Sister Hotel probably) or have it delivered to your room at a cheaper prize. Me and my friend asked the front desk officer why is it cheaper to eat breakfast delivered to the room than eating it at the restaurant area of Maxandrea Hotel? All we got was a smile.

Twin Sharing - P950

I was able to avail of their promo rate for twin sharing (matrimonial bed) of P780.
