Jackfruit is one of the fruits that i am very familiar with because we have many of it planted surrounding our old house in the province. It is one of my most favorite fruits and the sweetest of all. Jackfruit is also very much affordable. In the province it is sold per slice which means you have to pluck out the bulbs or pods yourself before you can eat it, while in the city, bulbs or pods are sold per kilo. Aside from being delicious, Jackfruit is also rich in vitamins, minerals and other nutrients.
