List of Cities In Mindanao

Mindanao is the second largest and easternmost island in the Philippines. It is also the name of one of the three island groups in the country, which consists of the island of Mindanao and smaller surrounding islands. As of this posting, there are twenty-seven (27) cities in Mindanao namely:

    New Cities of Mindanao are Cabadbaran in Agusan del Norte, Bayugan in Agusan del Sur, Tandag in Surigao del Sur, Mati in Davao Oriental, El Salvador in Misamis Oriental and Lamitan in Basilan. The laws creating these cities and 10 others in Luzon and Visayas were challenged a lot of times in the Supreme Court because of its failure to comply with the requirements in the creation of Cites.
