Manilagayguy’s post maybe has the longest comment entries I found on the topic - m2m massage. Finding information particularly for provincial areas from over a thousand comments is exhausting because most of the comment entries were about spas in Metro Manila and abroad. I tried scanning the comments and found only a few about massage and spas in Davao City. It's one of the reasons why I made this post.
The spas and massage centers listed below are limited only to those with male therapists. I will not give ratings to these spas because customer satisfaction is relative – depending on the person’s exposures and experiences with these places. I will only share a few from my experiences and hope to hear from my readers too.
Amaranthus Spa – They have a score of young and goodlooking male therapists. They had a blog with photos of their therapists before but the blog was deleted. There are three branches of Amaranthus Garden in Davao City, one in BO. Obrero along Palma Gil Street, another in Matina just a few meters from Davao City Water District, and in Buhangin, Davao City. They also have a branch in Tagum City. Visit their website HERE.
Asian Massage – this is the place where I had my first m2m massage. The only thing that I don’t like about their massage is the excessive use of oil. They have branches in Bajada in front of Gaisano Mall and Matina in front of Ateneo Grade School.
Body Bliss – I like this spa. So far the best I have tried – or maybe just the masseur. But, I read the same comments in other online forums. For other "type of service" - not with me. I only read one ES experience somewhere online but, it was a hotel service. They have branches in C.M. Recto near Marco Polo Hotel and in Matina in front of Davao City Water District.
Bompikoi – the most popular of them all with regard to the other type of service. It is a beauty parlor with massage service at the second floor. It was closed (not because of raid) because the parlor transferred location. I don’t know if they have reopened the massage service.

ReplyDeleteI would not be surprised with this swindling incident. In fact there have been several complaints (years ago) regarding Davao based male services (escort and masseurs) from Yahoo Groups and other online sites. In fact here in my city, there have been incidents of local gay customers being swindled/harassed by male escorts who are from Davao (as later investigated). Some of the heinous crimes that happened recently in my city were done by former Davao Penal Colony prisoners. I guess they left Davao for fear of the Death Squads and searched for softer targets like provincial cities. I hope this stops because it is affecting my perception of Davaoenos in general.
ReplyDeleteI am very much aware of these incidents here in Davao but were limited to those freelance masseurs and escorts roaming around the city. But, I haven't heard of incidents like this in licensed establishments where they can easily be rounded up.
ReplyDeleteSwindlers are present (i think) in all places more so in cities. It's just that people like us are easy targets for fear of scandal. Let us just be careful and learn from others.

ReplyDelete@Anon, marami na ang nabiktima sa mga freelance masseurs sa Davao. It is just so sad that nobody took action about it kasi nga kadalasan mga discreet men and nabibiktima at nahihiyang mag report. Sana may mag announce na lang in public not to get their services.

i'm not from davao but i purposely flew in sometime valentines of this year to spend it with mark/mark philip at amaranthus. and i wasn't the least disappointed.
i first tried him when i attended a conference in davao sometime 2008, and i promised myself to come back early this year to get him again. he's good in both massage and ES;, he might not be a biggie, but he sure is a chunkie...
The first encounter was great, the second was just about the same, except that hygiene was a bit a let-down, not enought though to make me stay away from. it's unfortunate though that he's no longer with amaranthus.
is there any way i can contact him? i think i must have come across his FS account, but will have to check to be sure.
any other guys at amaranthus worth checking out?

ReplyDelete@eica, tama ka huwag naman sanang sisiraan dito ang mga massuers.. at don't worry, di naman totoong mga pangalan ang mga ginagamit ng mga massuers at kung totoo man, hindi lang naman sila ang mga nagmamay-ari ng pangalan na yan... at wala namang pictures na pinakita dito.

@disgusted, open ang bompikoi pero sa ibang location na siya. Wala naman akong alam na na raid ang bompikoi kasi parlor naman talaga ang main business nila. Lumipat lang sila ng ibang lugar. Malapit sila sa Sta. Ana Church papuntang obrero na road, di ko alam anong name ng street.

Regarding kay richard, dili man makawork ang mga massuers kung walay health certificate and then monthly or twice a month yata ang checkup nila.
